I am always seeking to use my musical gift to inspire the diverse population of music lovers.”

Alan C. Wilkins

Burlington County, New Jersey – This year the world as we knew it shifted! Routines came to a halt, we were all locked indoors and anxiety set in for many!    Professional jazz musician and Hedgepeth Williams School of the Arts music teacher, Alan Wilkins continued to teach his student body from home while continuing to work on his latest project inspired by the birth of his baby girl.  On October 12th the world will download and experience Lullabies for Lily-Jean which is more than just a lullaby album! It’s not just for babies but, composed in a manner that will certainly cause the stress and anxiety to take a backseat while experiencing the sounds of the tunes. It’s designed to bring mental and physical rest.

Alan studied music then graduated with honors from University of the Arts, and has recorded with lots of popular musicians from various genres, but the most valuable insight for creating this album comes from the love and dedication he has for nurturing not just his own children but those whom he trusted to teach. As an educator and father he sees the value in creating a space of peace for children under his care to thrive.

Alan says, “I am always seeking to use my musical gift to inspire the diverse population of music lovers.”   Alan's skills coupled with his charismatic nature has created opportunities for him to share the stage with artists such as Thomas Claybourne, Tye Tribbett, Bubby Fan, Donald Ashley, Chill Moody, Angie Stone, “Professor” Craig Hayes, Charles Jenkins and Fresh Fire Pro.

On October 12th Alan hopes that Lullabies for Lily-Jean will be downloaded  on all streaming platforms across the globe to penetrate the hearts and minds of families in their personal spaces to bring peace and rest to those who are seeking such women, men, girls, boys, young and old alike!

Alan Wilkins looks forward to interviews for national newspapers, blogs, podcasts and radio stations.
